    I’m afraid I couldn’t wait any longer for Sam to open the pastry shop–describing the goodies was WAY fun for me. Some of them are based on things I actually know how to make, others are purely fictional…just because they sounded good. A little trivia fact that is not mentioned in the book: I used to decorate cakes for my spending money when I was in high school, and I once made my best friend’s wedding cake (I shudder to think now….was it really very good or was she just being nice?).
